Pool and gardens

The outdoor space is as important in a French gîte as the indoor space. We can help with the layout and landscaping of your property to ensure privacy and beauty whilst keeping the watering down to a minimum! This is what we’ve managed at our own gîtes.

Extras

The extras which you offer your guests are important, such as a private chef, wine tastings and recommendations of where to eat and what to do in the area. We can go through what you could offer guests to make their stay even more memorable.

Please get in touch to discuss this further.

Cleaning and laundry

Cleaning is a crucial part of your business. We can advise where to find cleaners, what salary and extras to offer them, and how to train them.

We can offer a template for how to organise your changeover day like a military operation!

We can discuss laundry options, cleaning tips and the annual maintenance your gîte requires.

We visited Maison Saint Blaise before the renovations started, meaning we were able to give advice about the layout and a room-by-room to-do-list. This included lightening the interiors, bringing a coherence and functionality to the space, and incorporating the classification criteria – resulting in the gîte being awarded 5* by the Ministry of Tourism.

There was a covered space by the pool which had become storage for inflatables and games. We saw it’s potential and it’s now been transformed into an Ibiza-style lounge area, to kick back and have a drink in the evenings.

When Tom and Emilie bought Maison Toumassou the garden was a jungle of bamboo. Their priority was to tame and landscape it, then we advised on the interiors and how to best use the outdoor space.
The living room is open to the kitchen and dining area, and leads to all the parts of the house. So it was important that there was a flow in the space, which meant rearranging the furniture. It’s a great space now!
